The mission of the Peck School of the Arts is to provide the highest quality education and professional training in the arts at the baccalaureate and master’s degree levels. The school is committed to recruiting faculty, staff, and students who reflect the richness and diversity of art-making in a variety of cultures. As the only school of the arts in Wisconsin in a major urban environment, the Peck School of the Arts encourages collaboration with community arts organizations and artists to provide professional experiences for its students.
What’s new for your company in 2014?
The UWM Peck School of the Arts continues to serve as a vibrant center of arts-making and collaboration in Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin. Some highlights this year include Kenilworth Open Studios, the Musical Theatre production of Urinetown, the Milwaukee LGBT Film/Video Festival, and MKE Unplugged.

The UWM Peck School of the Arts offers countless opportunities for art-making, art appreciation, creativity and collaboration.
Do you have any upcoming events?
Coming very soon, on Saturday, April 19, from 11am to 2pm, is Kenilworth Open Studios. Free and open to the public, Kenilworth Open Studios offers 3 hours and 6 floors of art, dance, film, music and theatre. Learn more atarts.uwm.edu/kos.
