What does your company do?

The mission of Alliance Française of Milwaukee is to promote, share and enjoy the culture, language and friendship of the French-speaking world.

La mission de l’Alliance Française de Milwaukee est de promouvoir, partager et savourer la culture, la langue et l’amitié du monde francophone.

The Alliance Française de Milwaukee was founded in 1918 as a social club and became an officially incorporated organization in 1992.  It is a locally run and funded 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

What’s new for your company in 2014?

We teach a variety of Children’s Courses, Summer Camps as well as Beginner, Intermediate and Conversations courses. We also have a full calendar of events which you can check out here.

What opportunities do you have for Milwaukee creatives?

We have several volunteer opportunities throughout the year that allow volunteers to practice the French language. Interested individuals can fill out our volunteer form here.

Do you have any upcoming events?

L’Alliance Française de Milwaukee is excited to celebrate  the sixteenth annual Fête du Cercle d’Or on Sunday, September 7th, from 4-7 p.m. in the first home constructed on Newberry Boulevard, an historic Gothic mansion. Newberry Boulevard was named one of America’s top 10 “Great Streets” in 2009 by the American Planning Association.

What does your company do?
Translator is an experience design studio based out of Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. We are thinkers, connectors, and doers and we develop killer brand platforms and experiences. We’re also pretty handy with a Chemex.

What does your company do?

In 1966, Kathryn Burke, fondly known as “Murph”, had fresh degrees in dietetics, chemistry and home economics… and a passion to craft unique culinary creations from old irish family recipes.
One of Murph’s first recipes was a wonderful tasting ‘savory sauce’ that she gave to family and friends and sold at specialty
