The Milwaukee Artists Network (MARN) was founded in 2000 to build a strong support system for the visual, performing, and literary arts. MARN has an extensive menu of services and programs that are designed to help individual artists enhance their ability to make a living with their art. Its Salon program connects individual artists with museums, galleries, art dealers, patrons, and collectors. MARN also organizes networking opportunities so that artists have the chance to meet and collaborate with other artists. The Arts Mentor program pairs experienced artists with those who are interested in strengthening their skills and their ability to market and sell their work.

Arts Wisconsin is a statewide membership organization whose mission is promoting, advocating for, and advancing the arts. In addition to advocacy, it helps members strengthen their operations through the ArtsPeer Advisory Network, the Rural Arts Management Institute, the Art Jobs resource directory, and workshops like the Work of Art sessions that focus on the business of art. Ongoing individualized technical assistance and planning are also available to members and the arts community. Finally, Arts Wisconsin produces Arts Education in Wisconsin and a comprehensive database that helps people navigate their way through the landscape of arts-related activity in the state.

United Performing Arts Fund oversees an annual community-wide fundraising campaign and allocates these funds to 34 member and affiliate performing arts organizations throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
